Vivian e. de Soto

I am an Artist, Art Educator, Illustrator and Designer.  I have received a Bachelors Degree in Design and Illustration, as well as a Masters Degree in Art Education.  I am a local Arts teacher & art contributor in the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Communities.  I was a participant in launching the East Los Angeles Self Help Graphics, El Dia de los Muertos event, which started in the early 1970s.  Therefore, my involvement in the Arts community’s has spanned over the last 50 years as an Artist, Volunteer, Educator, and Mentor.

My current art reflects on the simplicity of color, line, and form, that are organic in nature.  It has a primal sensibility I felt and displayed in the images I created in the early 2020s.
